As the Director of Cyber Security Practice at SVAM International, Matthew works within SVAM’s Cyber Security team, primarily focused on developing business and relationships to grow the areas of cybersecurity consulting, proactive risk management, digital identity, cyber defense, response and remediation services, and managed security services, catering to all industries. Matthew has 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, business development, operations, and security management in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry as well as experience within e-commerce system development, ERP development, customer service, manufacturing operations, and much more. 

Matthew brings his wealth of experience in the MSP industry and has consulted and operated within healthcare, financial, and defense industrial base industries from an information technology, security, and compliance perspective. He has additionally managed and executed NIST CSF (Cyber Security Framework) readiness and audit for his previous company. He holds various certifications, such as CISSP and CCSP from ISC2, and is pursuing Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) and has also held certifications as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified SonicWall Security Professional (CSSP)

Matthew also works with CompTIA on their executive steering committee and compliance management working groups  to help guide the technology industry more securely and compliantly.
